Anna was born 30 Dec., 1718 in Wingen, Alsace, France. Anna was the daughter of Johann? Hans Peter Fry |Frey and Anna Barbara Schmid |Schmidt. Anna died 1781 in Rowan County, NC, at 62 years of age.

Hans immigrated, 30 Sep., 1732. Destination:. He settled in Lancaster County, PA, where he took up a tract of 200 acres which lay in a branch of Muddy Creek in the Ease Cocalico township, south of the present town of Swartzville. He was granted this land by a warrant dated 22 May, 1734, and on 27 May, 1738, a survey was made. On 2 Apr., 1745, he sold his rights to Michael Harper, of Chester County, PA. About the year 1760 he moved his family from PA to Rowan County, NC, where he owned taxable property as early as 1761. In that county he purchased a tract of land from Henry McCulloch, Esquire, of "Turnham Green," in 1762.

He married Anna Barbara Leonard 'Barbara' circa 1766 in Rowan County, NC.⁽⁹³⁹⁾ Barbara was born 16 Oct 1749 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA. Barbara⁽⁹⁴⁰⁾ was the daughter of John Paul Leonhardt, I 'Valentin' and Elizabeth Wallacher. Barbara died circa 1766. She was baptized in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA, 29 Oct 1749. 448 vi. Conrad Hege |Hegi |Hagey⁽⁹⁴²⁾ was born in Lancaster, PA 1760.⁽⁹⁴³⁾ Conrad died before 1824 in Guilford County, NC. He married Mary Magdalena Molly Clapp 1780 in Guilford County, NC. Mary was born 1764 in Rowan County, NC. Mary was the daughter of John Philip Clapp and Barbara ?. Mary died in Guilford County, NC.
