508. Johann Christoph (Christopher)¹¹ Schweißguth (Johann Jakob¹², Veith¹³, Gerald Oswald¹⁴) was born in Elbigenalp, Tyrol, Austria 9 Jul., 1626. Johann died 18 Jun., 1699 in Lehrback, Oberhessen, Germany, at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Lehrback, Oberhessen, Germany.

He married Anna Martin 1 Feb., 1676 in Lehrback, Oberhessen, Germany. He was the oldest child. Sometime between 1641 and 1647 his parents and siblings moved the family to Lehrbach, Oberhessen, now Germany. They practiced the Catholic faith there as did their Austrian ancestors.

He was a builder.

Upon his marriage to Anna, Christopher converted to the Evangelical (Protestant) faith.

In 1668 the village of Schweisgut was formed in the Tyrol area of Austria.

Johann Christoph (Christopher) Schweißguth and Anna Martin had the following children:

509 i. Johann Jakob¹⁰ Schweißguth was born est. 1683.
